The Individual Physical Proficiency Test (or IPPT) is a test of physical fitness used by the Singapore Armed Forces, Singapore Police Force and Singapore Civil Defence Force to determine the level of fitness of their members.
The five stations tested are 1 minute Sit-ups, Standing Board Jump, Chin-ups, Shuttle Run and 2.4km Run. To motivate NSmen to keep themselves fit, they are monetary awards given when they achieve gold ($400) and silver ($200) standard in their IPPT year.
